I can never make just one design so I’ve made 6 different templates to choose from. Kids can also choose one of three designed bands or use a blank one to decorate on their own.
This could make a fun class craft or you can do it at home like I did with my kids.
Supplies
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
- Printable template (choose 1 of 6)
- Tape or stapler
Directions
Making one of these Easter bunny hat crafts is super easy.
1 – First, choose one of the 6 templates (grab those below). Decorate your hat design with crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
2 – Cut out the front of the Easter bunny hat.
Kids may need some help with this since cutting around those big ears can be tricky.
3 – Now choose a band for you Easter craft. There are three designs to choose from or there are blank ones that you can decorate as you see fit.
If you use the blank ones just don’t decorate all the way to the ends as when you attach them to each other there will be a little bit of overlap.
4 – Use tape or staples to attach the front of your hat to the band.
We measured our heads and whether it was my head or those of my 5 and 7 year old there were all around 21.5 inches.
So we needed the entire front and the extra strip and just varied the amount of overlap a little bit.
We used clear tape to connect our pieces and it worked great.

Each Easter bunny hat template prints on an 8.5″ x 11″ piece of paper. You will need to print these on cardstock, otherwise the ears will droop.
The set includes 6 different templates plus 2 sheets of extra headbands. One page with designs and one with plain bands.
Happy Easter everyone!
