Bears a fun. They’re the villains in many Disney movies, yet most of us also own a teddy bear. They can be scary and cute and cuddly too. This brown bear craft is definitely of the cuddly sort.

Both my girls love the book “Brown bear, brown bear“, my toddler can even “read” it herself due to its repetitive nature and the bright fun pictures.

All you need are a few supplies and the printable bear template and you’ll be ready to craft.

Bear Craft Supplies

• Paper Plates
• Brown paint
• Bear Template
• Popsicle stick (optional)
• Glue
• Scissors

Directions

1 – Print the bear template (download below) and cut out the pieces.

2 – Paint the entire paper plate brown.

3 – Use the glue to attach the eyes, ears, mouth, and nose.

4 – If desired attach a popsicle stick or any other kind of stick to the bottom of the plate so you can wave your bear around or use it as a mask.

5 – Allow it to dry completely.
