Supplies
- Brown paper bag
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Vampire template (download below)

Directions
1 – Print out the Vampire template and cut out all the pieces.
If you’re using the black and white version, I recommend having kids color it before you cut it out.

2 – Attach the head.
There are only two pieces for this craft!
Start by lining up the head. The bottom of the piece should line up with the bottom of the flap of the paper bag.
I recommend covering the flap of the bag with glue then placing the piece on top. The head is taller than the bag flap so this avoids have the glue too high.

3 – Attach the mouth
Add the mouth-piece to the main portion of the bag. The piece should slide up partially under the flap of the paper bag.
You’ll want to be a little careful when placing the mouth so that the lips line up on the sides, it can be a little tricky.
For this piece, go ahead and cover the back of the piece with glue before placing it on the bag.

4 – Add some finishing touches.
Make it your own if you want!
Add a bat, a tie, or a cape if you want to make it extra vampirey.

5 – Get ready to play
A puppet can be used for so many things! You can, of course, just use it as a simple craft for Halloween.
You can also use your puppet to act out a story or play, whether it’s one you make up as you go along or a short story that kids write out ahead of time.
Maybe kids will even get inspired to create their own Halloween puppets.
