DIY Mother’s Day Flower Cards {with printable templates}

This craft works for a wide range of ages. Younger kids can focus on coloring and gluing, while older kids can take more ownership of cutting, designing, and writing their own heartfelt messages.
You probably have most of the necessary supplies already in your home or classroom.
Supplies
- Cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Markers or crayons
- Printable templates (super helpful for easy prep!)
- Optional: stickers, glitter, or gems for decorating

Directions

1 – Choose a template
Choose a template and print it on cardstock so it will be sturdy.
2 – Color
Color the card and flowers with crayons, markers, colored pencils, etc.
3 – Cut out the pieces
Cut out both the cup and the flowers carefully or have a grown up do it.
4 – Fold and glue
Fold the card in half on the dotted line. Then, glue the flowers to the top of the card.
5 – Add some flair or personalize
Add a personal message inside or add some flair with stickers or glitter.
Make it extra special
