  • glue stick
  • Construction paper or markers
  • Optional: Googly eyes

Directions

1 – Your first task is to print out the bee template which can be found towards the end of the page.

You can choose from three options:
a) Print the colored bee, then simply cut out and assemble
b) Use the blank template and let kids color their own bee, cut out and assemble
c) Use the pieces as a template. Trace them onto colored paper and cut out.

2 – Once you have all the pieces cut out, from whichever option you chose above, you are ready to start assembling your paper bee craft bracelet.

Start by gluing the stripes onto the bees body and adding the antennae.

3 – Next, attach the wings to the body.

4 – Now make it your own! Use any combination of markers, construction paper, or googly eyes to create a cute face for your little honey bee.

You can also add a stinger if you like.

5 – If you’re going to make it a bracelet then you’ll need to prepare the strap.

Take the piece of black paper and trim it down so it wraps around the child’s wrist with a few extra inches.

Use the small strips to create one or two loops that slide onto the black strap. These will hold the paper in place when you wrap it around.

You could also use something like slap bracelets for the band. You’ll just need to put them on first and make the spot on the band that is in the center of the wrist so you know where to attach the bee.

6 – Glue your bee onto the bracelet and put it on!
