Mother’s Day Crown Craft {Printable Hat Templates}
A Mother’s Day crown or Mother’s Day hat can be a fun way for kids to celebrate mom.

There are several different types of printable crowns in this set. I’ve included some just to color. A couple where you can add a photo. There are even two where you can write things about your mom.
This could make a fun preschool class craft or you can do it at home just for your own mom.
Supplies
- Crayons or markers
- Printable template (choose 1 of 5)
- Tape or stapler
Directions
Making one of these Mother’s Day crowns is super easy.
1 – First, choose one of the 5 templates (grab those below). Decorate the crown with crayons or markers.
For some styles there are also places to fill in a few things about mom or to add a photo.
2 – Cut out the crown. Do NOT cut off the tabs on the sides of the crown.
You’ll need to cut out both the main crown piece as well as the strip below.
Feel free to draw some pictures on that paper strip to make it unique.
3 – Use tape or staples to attach the strip to either side of the mother’s day crown.
I’ve also included a sheet with extra bands as for many of us we’ll need some extra length to make it fit our heads.
If mom is around as a model you can measure her head to get a good fit for her Mother’s Day hat.
If not, just make a generic size and she’ll make it work.
4 – Gift it to mom on Mother’s Day so she can wear it proudly all day long.
Grab the printable templates
Each Mother’s day hat design prints on an 8.5″ x 11″ piece of paper. For a sturdier hat you can also print it on cardstock paper.
The set includes 5 different templates plus a sheet with just the bands in case you need to make your crown bigger.
